My Sister is NOT going Organic!!

This blog was STOLEN straight from my Sis’s Blog but I laughed so hard when she told me on the phone I thought I should share it here as well…..

Not Going Organic

Well yesterday my mom ran out and picked up some bananas since we go through quite a few—I love ‘em and so do the kids. All the “normal” bananas were dark green and wouldn’t be ripe for days, so she paid a little more to get the organic ones so we could have some for the morning. And we laughed about how organic bananas seemed like a silly idea since you didn’t eat the skin anyways.(Yes, I know it can get inside, but we laughed nonetheless. It’s my story—let me tell it.)

Now let me make something clear. I have nothing against organic food. Although we “cow folk” often tease each other about being granola eating bunny huggers, the truth is, I’d probably buy it if it wasn’t so much more expensive. Until yesterday……

I noticed this hole in the banana peel AFTER I’d opened it and found the worm in the top—a WORM!! Do you hear me people?? I said a WORM!! In my banana!! I can honestly say I have never ever in my life even heard of someone who’s found a worm in their banana. And the FIRST time I eat some organic fruit in my LIFE—wouldn’t you know? I find a worm in it. So there you have it folks. Call me ignorant, but I guess I’m stickin’ with the pesticides—just in case I ever decide to eat a banana in the dark.

The End.

P.S.  Here’s a Random Funny picture of my Sister as a Pirate.  She’s Awesome.
