Today was our BIG PLAY DATE! We had 15 kids there!! All were families who have signed up for the 30 day challenge! We had bubbles, chalk, music, scooters/bikes, kites, rocks to climb, and we made pine cone bird feeders! So, without much ado…here are pictures…(many of these were taken by my dear friend, Tara, who had her camera when I didn’t have mine!)
This is called…”What do you mean you have cactus in your yard and didn’t tell anyone?” (It’s in the corner…I’m such a terrible host!)
Then there was bubbles!
Ella wanted to EAT them…
Then Mrs. NN and her amazing Kite Flying skills!!
Oh, look! Grass is coming!
There were LOTS of NEW babies!
Time to draw…
Then we moved the chalk to the ROCK!!
Time for Pinecone Birdfeeders!!
You need: Pinecones…we found these in my yard.
Equal amounts of Peanut Butter and real butter/lard (I used lard). The lard thins it so it doesn’t CHOKE the birds!
Birdseed and string!!
Thanks to all the moms who helped with this MESSY but fun project!!
Then Ella & Sylvie hung there’s in our trees for the birds (and squirrels!).
See you outside tomorrow!

I don't mean to brag, but picture-wise, together, we could put a hurtin' on somebody! Love it! We had so much fun (minus the cactus, tee hee). Happy weekend to you!
So much fun! I can't wait to host one here at my house! Wish I lived close enough to swing on by yours!
thanks for the fun playdate! Can you email me the pics with my family? Thanks!
