Alright…I think a month and a half is too far to go to even understand the notes I wrote about each day…I’ll do my best…
Monday I seem to remember was a good day for me. I was feeling really up and joyful. I even got the missionary bug and suddenly asked a friend if I could share the gospel with her. I’ve been wanting to do it for years but wasn’t sure how to bring it up so I just messaged her and she said yes! Funny how easy it is sometimes…
Corben called me from school to come and pick him up. He was having terrible headaches. I didn’t sleep well myself, I had horrible nightmares all night and slept painfully… At least my Collin sleeps well…
Tuesday Corben stayed home from school with a headache. I was really feeling great again…maybe it’s all the fabulous pain meds (lol) Just kidding…
Loving my life. Finally found the perfect mix of meds, rest, and hugs to be able to be up and getting things done. The wind is blowing, Collin is napping, the laundry is being folded by children, and I'm filling up on God's word. :)
It was McTeacher Night for Ella’s school. Lucky for the kids their Great Grandparents just sent them each a $5 gift card to McDonald’s! Made supporting the school extra easy!
Wednesday I was a little worried that things were swinging the other way because by 6am I’d already been up for hours with a baby with a fever and gotten a bug in my eye…lol (on the bug, not the baby). But how can it be a bad day when it’s Talk Like a Pirate Day!! Sylvie did great at gymnastics today and luckily my little Collin slept some. I’m a little worried about this fever.
I got the itch to do something different with my photography today so I worked on these Stereo 3D images. Here’s one, I posted a bunch in a previous post and most people can’t figure out how to view them which is a tragedy since they are so amazing.

Mom took Corben to scouts and Ella to gymnastics. They went by Krispy Kreme for their free donuts for talking like Pirates!! We LOVE Krispy Kreme!!
Thursday was busy! I had my follow-up appt. after my surgery and the doc gave me the okay to live my life again…if only this baby was 10 lbs. lighter maybe I’d heal faster! I took my sweet Collin to the doctor to have his breathing checked. He has a virus, of course, but lungs were clear. On the way home I got a flat tire. Seriously about a mile from home. Of course, there was no spare tire. Luckily a wonderful friend was able to come pick me and the kids up (it was pretty hot outside) and take us home while my fabulous father-in-law came and fixed the tire for us. What a blessing! My friend also took Sylvie for a while so I could get a rest. It was much needed. Then my sweet hubby showed up early home from work! Yay! Too bad my little one is so sick!
With Daddy home early I was able to tend to the baby while he bathed the beauties and put them to bed. They he took care of Collin for a bit so I could get a shower and some rest!
Friday Corben had early release and Ella had Pajama Day!!
Saturday the boys got too finally see their dad! He’s been in Afghanistan since February and made it home safely to his family. I laughed so hard when I took this picture. Everyone thinks Dade looks like me!
Midday we got to have some friends over for a while and decided to play outside in the beautiful weather!
Sunday was beautiful out. Ryan took the girls out to ride their bikes. Sylvie’s big bike had a flat so she got to use the too tiny one. Ryan took off Ella’s training wheels. She did okay. I ran out to get pics but was only in time to see the finishing up…
