Monday was a crazy day. Dade was home and had to be back to school by 5pm. Corben stayed after school to practice for his orchestra concert. Ryan had to be home to be there when Ella got home from school at 4. Luckily my awesome SIL, Cassie, was able to pick Corben up from school so everyone could get to where they needed to go. Sadly, while waiting for Cassie, Corben dropped his cello… (luckily we have insurance on it)
Tuesday Ella had a 2 hr. delay and Corben was out of school for the election! Ryan and I got up VERY VERY early so we could be some of the first ones at the polls. We took the 3 smallest with us and though the line was SO long when we got there we were relieved to find out that was the L-R line and that the S line was empty! It felt to good to vote. To know that my vote counted. I pray for this country of ours and know that God is watching over us. – The girls got I Voted stickers and were so happy. On the way out a Veteran was thanking us for bringing our children and told us about his 5 kids. Ryan piped in that WE had two more at home. :)
So we had extra time in the morning so that meant we should do something fun…like make Carmel Apples!! (Thanks GGma & GGdad for the kits!)
We spent the evening getting a replacement for Corben’s cello. He’s growing so we were able to get a 3/4 size!!
My Collin is so cute…
Ryan got home very late from work so I stayed up to watch the election results. It was pretty obvious the way things were going and I’m on to watch a train wreck so I watched Storage Wars (not a huge selection of other things on) and checked back in in the morning.
Wednesday started with early morning dentist appts for the girls. No cavities!
Sylvie and I watched a mother cat and her two orange kittens head out on an adventure that started from our back yard. I know the one picture looks like the kitten is a bit scary but he was just meowing for his brother.
Right after school, we headed out to watch Corben’s orchestra concert. Mom joined us.
Thursday was my sister, Terralynn’s birthday! We also decided to see what Collin really thought of food since he’s been eyeing everyone else’s and trying to get it into his mouth. He did alright but he’s not ready. We’ll try back in a few weeks.
Friday Corben & Ella were home from school with stomach aches. Corben had to miss out on most of the Merit Badge clinic he was to attend but he did get to go to the cooking part (very exciting for him).
Saturday was my sister, Alora’s birthday!
Sunday I got to lead the music in Primary! So much fun. I sure miss those kids. It also was our Schnegel-party! Ryan’s sister, Amy, picked up Dade and brought him from school. Thanks, Amy! We had such a great time celebrating Ryan & Dade’s birthday (early). My nephew Dylan requested a Cyclops Shark cake and my SIL, Jamie, sure delivered! We think Cyclops Shark looks a lot like Pleakley!!

Aw, your kids are so cute!!! I love Collin's sweet face.
Was Corben sad about his cello breaking? I'd be so upset if it were mine! But I'm glad he got another (bigger) one. That is very good.
