5-2-2010 Week in Review….

Monday started out with another EARLY morning flight back home.  By this time, my flying buddy had gotten pretty used to me and we had a great time.  He, however, is terrible at thumb wars, despite what he may tell you!!

 

Have I mentioned how lucky I am to have great friends??!!  This is Christy (you can check her out at ChristysClipart.com).  She used to live nearby and we were good buddies.  Oh, how I miss her shenanigans!  Anyway, her husband works at the airport and was able to bring her in to visit with me on the layover!!  It was so great to laugh with her again!!  I miss you already, Christy!!

I came home to a house full of changes.  Ryan had spent the weekend checking off his Honey Do list.  YEAH!!  New doors, fixed doors & windows, walls painted, pictures moved, cribs fixed, phones installed, the list goes on and on.  There was, however, 5 days of laundry & cleaning to take care of…ugh!!

So Now it’s catch up time.  Catch up on the house, the laundry, my church stuff, a million photoshoots, unfinished projects, Heritage Makers, and life in general…..oh, and take care of 4 children….sigh.  I’m tired!!

Wednesday I paused to make this wardrobe for the girls’ princess stuff.  It’s a mod from another shelf but I think it turned out great!

Then the boys both had big events at scouts.  Corben had pack mtg and got 2 red beads and his archery & bb gun belt loops!!  You can see his reaction when the cub master told him I was getting ready to take a picture…..

Dade had Court of Honor and got 4 merit badges!! Way to go, Dade!!

We were all laughing here because the scout master asked Dade to tuck in his shirt….unfortunately that’s as far down as it goes!!  He won’t stop growing!!!!

Thursday the girls and I decided to make potato beads…..yes those are chopped up potato bits hanging in my window….quite decorative aren’t they?

Friday was yet another Crafty Day for me….seems to be a theme lately….(cost = $3…maybe)

Then, while I was out with friends for the evening doin’ that Heritage Makers thang….Ryan spent some time outside with Ella….

They found….

Then they went for a SWING….

Yes….she is that high…and that’s not even as high as she goes!!!

Good thing I trust my husband!!….But does she LOVE IT???!!!

…every second!!!….she doesn’t EVER want to stop!!

Saturday we started the day out the very best way….AT THE TEMPLE!!  We had a Primary activity.  “MY” Primary kids sang so beautifully!…Here’s them getting some High 5’s for their awesome work!

Luckily, our new future butterflies were busy at home getting ready to grow some wings!!

 

Sunday they were almost all packed away….

Notice any talk of sleep in this blog??  That’s because I still haven’t managed to find it!!….sigh….maybe next week?? (Yeah, I’m almost caught up!!)
