4-25-2010 Week in Review….

Can you say SICK AS A DOG!!  I just love a full blown sinus infection, don’t you?

I can tell you hear that I have great friends.  I spent most of this week trying to catch up and recover (to no avail) and I had wonderful people who helped me all along the way.  One friend actually came and spent the day with the girls so I could just go out….I sure needed it.  (Thanks, R!)

I also managed to FINALLY get my driver’s license this week and NOT have a huge red runny nose in the picture!

By Wednesday night, things seemed to be looking up….just in time….

I had to wake up Thursday morning at 3:45am to catch an early morning flight to California for a friend’s wedding.  I was also escorting her 12 year old son so I had great company for the flights.  I stayed with Ryan’s mom and his amazing grandparents provided me with a vehicle and a GPS.  YEAH!!  I had a nice evening with the family and dinner with the grandparents.  So much for having caught up on any sleep last week…….

Friday I was so tired my speech was slurring!!  However, I managed to catch a bit of a nap and head out to a wonderful reunion of friends and family at the rehearsal dinner.

Saturday started out with a fun photo lesson with my MIL.  We headed to the beach and then to a local college.  She even caught a few of me….

    

I then headed out to the wedding in La Jolla.  It was the most beautiful location for a wedding I’ve ever seen.  There were even seals in the ocean beneath us!!

 

I spent the reception with my friend’s family and then headed back to my MIL’s for a wonderful late night of talking…..

In the mean time the boys were with my mom, my sister, and my dad and his family having a blast!!  The boys even rode a mechanical bull!!

    

Sunday I was able to drive out and visit with my cousin who I haven’t seen in many many many years!  It was like we were old friends!  Her family is beautiful and so fun.  Oh I wish we lived closer!!  Thanks, Leslie, for a wonderful day!

 

I love this picture of my cousin (below).  I think she looks a lot like my grandmother when she was young….She’s beautiful….

There are pics missing from this blog that will have to be posted later….sometimes you just have to move on!…..I’m just trying to catch up!
