Now I’m so far behind that I have NO IDEA what happened these weeks and what I’m forgetting to put in here….sigh. I need to catch up quick!
Monday was a sad day as Ella headed back to school after her month and a half track out. I’m sure going to miss her everyday. This year round thing is tough on everyone. She hates going back for the first week or so. However, the boys both had off of school so at least I was able to enjoy them!
Wednesday Dade had wrestling and I posted on Facebook that “I could really use 3 of me...maybe 4.” With mom recovering from her surgery I’m handling Wednesday nights alone and it’s tough! I miss you, mom!! :)
Thursday I headed over to visit with mom. She was getting ready to head back over to the hospital because there was some redness in her leg…not cool. They ended up admitting her and pumping her full of antibiotics to prevent the infection from reaching her knee. I’m so glad she went!
Friday was report cards. Both boys did well. I’m so proud of them.
Saturday started EARLY as Dade had both SAT and a full day of wrestling. Luckily they were both at the same school! He’s been studying hard for the SATs. It’s all in an attempt to get into the residential high school he’s hoping to get into (and I’m dreading the thought of…). On Facebook I posted:
“Dade’s weighed in for his wrestling tournament today and still made it early to the SAT. Had to skip his American Legion Speech contest and setting off rockets with his awesome uncle but there's only so many things a kid can fit in one day!”
Ella came and asked me to take her picture! She’s definitely got her own style! We sure love her lots!
Sunday we were blessed to have the missionaries over for supper and then Dade and I attended a night on youth standards. I love spending time with him.
