Monday (Memorial Day) – As you can see from the pictures below (taken by small children), Ryan is putting up our ceiling today!
Take note of the small dress being worn by Ella in the pic below…she’s STILL wearing dresses/skirts and since I already purchased her a full summer wardrobe of only shorts she’s having to wear Sylvie’s summer wardrobe that consists only of dresses/skirts. I keep hoping this is a phase…I already bought their summer clothes!! UGH.
They started getting a little bit in my face while I was working on photos so I sent them outside!
After a full day, Ryan and I did get to go out on a date! (But since this was a month ago I can’t remember if it was the ice cream date or the Walmart date…or maybe we did both…)
Tues – I actually did my VTing!! Dade babysat for almost 9 hrs tonight and I took the kids to the park late in the evening…it was SO HOT!!! (Take note of the Ella skirts below…sigh. I do have to admit that it’s cute, though. Also, Sylvie has taken up using baby dresses as tops. It’s actually kind of cute, though her choice of leggings didn’t exactly match. She’s the fashion diva though so who am I to argue…)
Wed – Today marks 1 week that Dade has been talking with an English accent!! His teachers have given in to his craziness and some have even begun to talk back to him in an accent while others just laugh. I think he’s decided that a week is long enough. He’s actually having troubles talking in his regular voice now! lol – Dade also had a service project today. They worked on the grounds of a Senior Center. I love that he gets so many opportunities to serve!
Thurs – Last Day of Seminary!! I'm not excited that early morning Seminary is over for Dade this year...but I'm pretty stoked that I don't have to drive him there again for 3 months! Yeah for sleeping in!
Spent the morning at my sisters! Our kids played in the pool and the slip and slide. Ella and Sylvie also got a taste of the electrical fence. Sylvie got it twice! It was on low so it wasn’t terrible. Ella said it felt like someone hit her with a ball and Sylvie thought she was getting stung. Poor thing!
Dade spent the evening babysitting again. He’s really a popular sitter! Check out Ella’s dress…AGAIN!! I don’t think she’s ever going to go back to pants…keeps saying she’s being a Mommy!
Fri – Dade’s last day of school!! Yippee!! As you can see, the girls are having fun with the camera so I’m letting them. Plus, it means I get to be in pics every once in a while!
It’s the first Friday in June! What’s that mean??? It means it’s National Doughnut Day!! Free doughnuts at Krispy Kreme!
Notice Ella’s wearing shorts???!!! (But Sylvie’s still in pants!) – Anyway, the girls went outside for some pics to give to Daddy for Father’s Day! (Since I’m posting this AFTER Father’s Day I can show them to you…lol)
Sat – Family Day @ Dade’s School! Corben must have been with his Dad or my mom because I just realized he’s in none of these photos…hmmmm. It was my mom, I remember now.
Ryan saved a baby bird today from a hawk after it fell out of the nest. We nursed it for a bit and then got it back outside and found it's parents. Seems pretty happy now and so do mom & dad!
Sunday….hmmmm, I don’t remember much. I know the nursery went well but that I felt like I was running and every time I’d be finishing up one thing someone would come tell me I was late for the other thing I was supposed to be doing. I did get it all done, though!
