So, you may have noticed that I’m a bit over a MONTH behind on my blogging. Summer is wearing me out!! So, I don’t remember ALL the details of the past month but kind of wrote them in every few days so I wouldn’t get too far behind. So, if this all seems really disjointed, sorry!!
Monday – Ryan made homemade bread today and spelled the girl’s names on the top in bread dough. They were really cool and I took a picture, then accidentally erased it off my camera!
Tuesday – The girls keep getting a hold of my sport camera…
Wednesday – Ella & Sylvie played outside a lot today. Ella took all her animals outside and set up a school where she was the teacher!
I also took this washed out pic of Sylvie that I love/hate because it makes her look so much older!! UGH!
Their little plants are growing good!
Ella: Mommy, do I smell like Ryan?
Me: Huh? Why would you smell like Dad?
Ella: Because I passed gas!!
Also, today when Dade got home from Scouts he was talking with an English accent. He’s decided it may be this way from now on! LOL I find it very distracting and hard to take him seriously!
Thursday – So, randomly, Ella (the Prince) has started wearing SKIRTS!! It’s like the world is upside down because she doesn’t wear skirts…she wears PANTS or maybe shorts but NEVER skirts! So, to accommodate, Sylvie is wearing pants…I’m so confused…
Friday – it rained crazy with crazy wind! AND Ella cut her hair...again...good thing she's kind of good at it and it just makes her look like she has extra layers...
So, in case you wondered….
Need a comparison? Yeah, I tried to say they were blonde, too….but the gray ones are MINE. Sigh. (I also blame it on driving with Dade this week! lol)
Dade is STILL talking with his accent. His friends all think he’s really strange but some of them have also started talking that way, too. I find myself talking to him with an accent just for fun. I love my crazy kids!
Saturday – we cleaned the house and I sent the kids (mostly Corben) out to play in the rain (love the rain boots!) To bribe them all to work all day I made Funnel Cakes for breakfast! My mom used to make them on occasion when I was a kid…they were awesome and I was (for a moment) Mom of the Year!
Sunday – I sang with the choir! I actually love to sing with the choir but never can stay after for practice but they were singing a song I know so they asked if I could add my voice! So fun! I also started my first week as Nursery Chorister (in addition to Primary Chorister). Why do I get SO nervous??!! Anyway, it went fine and the babies didn’t boo me out of the room so I guess we’ll be alright!
After church I headed over to my SIL’s house to catch some pics of their “new” baby! We even worked in a very fun family picture!
While I was gone, Ryan handed the girls our sport camera so they took a few pics of our Home Teacher and all the goings on around the house!
