Though I would never consider myself a food neophobe and though I was offended when they called my friends “these people” and pinned them as childish eaters…
…I did feel heartbroken of this little girl’s story. It is so my life! Watching her choke down a tomato was hard to watch as it was how things were for me at the dinner table… I am thankful that an awareness has begun, I hope it continues into something that can actually help little girls and boys out there who are crying at the table.

This girl is not picky ....... tomatoes are gross. Why would I or anyone eat anything that tastes gross? Don't you think if it tasted good I would eat it? In fact, I WISH it did taste good! I would love to eat them, all of them! The problem is not that we're picky. The problem is that tomatoes are gross. --Jymn
