7-4-2010 Week in Review

Monday I forced my slaves to clean….muahhahahahahaha!! Then after they were all in bed exhausted from the endless hours of scrubbing floors with toothbrushes and mending all of my clothes…by hand……I headed over to spend time with my dear neighbor until the wee hours of the morning when we both realized we had to get up soon and had better stop talking!! LOL (I ♥ U KL!)

Tuesday I was hung over from lack of sleep and taking one too many Benedryl for all the bug bites I got (one Benedryl is always too many with me….) SO…I rewarded the slaves for their hard work the day before by letting them out of their cages and taking them to the pool to swim with cousins!! YEAH ME! (I’m writing this way because I want them to remember it how they’re going to tell their children it happened anyway….right?)

Here’s Ella on her 3rd day EVER swimming…..she also got very angry when I wouldn’t let her go on the high dive….

Wednesday was torture day for the slaves….so I took them to the dentist and to a Wellbaby check up where a finger was pricked….don’t worry, it wasn’t a spindle and the thorns growing up around my house are just weeds….there is no dragon or need for a Prince….I already have one.

Thursday I got to take some more pictures. This family was SO funny to work with. I finally started telling the son that he better NOT look at my camera and smile and that he better NOT sit by his sister and look cute. It worked every time and I got great shots….besides these….lol.

Friday, due to his new amazing job, Ryan actually had a day off….kinda….he spent the entire day doing emergency jobs….sigh.

Saturday we had my niece and nephew over and had a blast. Later, Ryan took the kids to shoot off some fireworks at his brother’s house. Dade didn’t go…he was recovering from a sleepover where he didn’t sleep at all….

Sunday Sylvie had the fever that Ella had earlier in the week so the girls, Ryan & Dade (who we thought had pink eye….AGAIN) stayed home while Corben & I headed to church. That evening….after trying, in vain, to meet up with my sister(s) (Luv you T & J)….we found a soft piece of grass and caught a glimpse of some fireworks. Happy 4th of July!!
