Monday was such a beautiful day. I did Sylvie’s hair (for once) and found Collin cuddling his giraffe. He’s just figured out how to swat at things in his lap. So cute!!
It was also the first day of 7th grade for Corben (no I didn’t catch a pic – sigh) so Sylvie was bored. Ryan watched the baby so I could go out and play with Sylvie on the trampoline for a bit!
From FB: “There he goes, off on his new adventure he calls 7th grade. He's so excited!...oh wait...here's his schedule sitting on the floor of the van...where he accidentally left it... Say a little prayer Corben's first day goes okay!!”
I decided to try to snag a shot for a wiggle 3D pic. I didn’t do it exactly right but it wasn’t terrible. Can you see the 3D effect? (mostly in the table, I think)
Sylvie’s bird feeder she made with Dad!
Ryan and I decided today that we’re not signing Sylvie up for preschool. We’re going to give gymnastics a try. Sylvie is interested and we’ve always felt that Ella could use some help with her crazy flips and strength. We don’t usually do this kind of thing (especially since the girls can’t be in the same class and it’s a little bit expensive) but Sylvie needs something to do so we went over and signed them up.
We went that night to the park to celebrate an amazing family we all know and love that’s leaving. Our bishop and his family are moving out of state and it was quite a shock to everyone. They are so wonderful and we are going to miss them very much. Especially Corben. Their son, Nate, was Corben’s best friend.
Tuesday I decided to try and see if Collin would take a bottle since all this milk saving would be pointless if he wouldn’t take a bottle. Apparently he has a lot of Ryan in him because he was so totally laid back about it. First time he took it like he’d been drinking from one his while life!
So, our local county decided last year that we had too many buses around so they decided to stream line everything, move the start and close times of most of the schools in the county and merge routes so that they could take dozens of buses out of use and save a ton of money (and supposedly time for the kids). WELL, it’s day 2 of the traditional calendar school year and so far things are a disaster!! Buses are coming HOURS late (or 30 minutes early). We missed the bus this morning it came so early. His ride home was over 2 hours long because they stopped at 4 schools to pick up kids. They were running so late that some of the schools didn’t even have kids for them to pick up because they’d given up on waiting and called their parents. Ella’s principal (because he’s amazing) is calling parents every 15 minutes (even after 5pm) to tell them which buses have or haven’t shown yet and what time they’re leaving campus. There are poor little babies still at the school almost 2 hours after it’s out. They could have walked home in that time! This is craziness.
Thursday, Dade’s roommate won this awesome mask and posted this pic on Facebook (thanks, Dallin! I stole your pic!) I just really liked seeing Dade in the background doing his thing. It’s the same view I always had of him at home so it was kind of comforting. lol :)
Who even knows what happened this week. I apparently took no note of anything… I think I’ve been stressing about getting enough food for Collin for during the surgery. I asked around and found a friend who was willing to loan me a better pump.
Here’s some video from Sunday of Ryan and the girls wrestling!

Enjoyed the videos of Ryan flipping the girls...I might know why he back sometimes (or always hurts)...
Sylvia is so photogenic!! Almost all her action pictures make me wish I was doing the same thing.
Thanks for keeping this up. Gramma loves it too!
Oh....and how did you animate the wiggle picture? I assume it's two pictures. Is it a program on blogspot?
That makes me mad about the buses! >:O ARG! I hope they get that sorted out FAST. And in the meantime, I hope Corbin doesn't get carsick if he reads a book on the bus...or does homework...poor guy!
I'm so glad Collin takes a bottle! Both my kids took bottles like pros, and I can only imagine how stressful and difficult it would be if they hadn't.
Sylvie is adorable in her trampoline pics. :)
