Monday – so…I’m sick… Seems I caught Sylvie’s Fifth Disease. Not contagious ANYMORE…sorry everyone…sigh. I feel like I got run over by a truck. EVERYTHING hurts and it looks like it may be this way for a while! Online it says weeks to MONTHS!! UGH. Anyway, the rest of my family spent the day cleaning. No more germs here!
Tuesday morning I headed out early with the boys to watch my sisters give their 4H presentations at State level! They both have already won gold medals and their presentations today were fantastic! Alora was SO close to placing but Lianna did win Silver! Yeah for both of them!!
We spent our evening at Cici’s (for only $1.75 – thank you Groupon) and the library.
Wednesday I headed out EARLY for the long flight to Utah to attend my sister’s wedding!! After a very long 3 flights and 2 layovers I was picked up at the airport by my AMAZING brother, Jymn! (Oh how I miss him.) We headed straight over to see some long time friends (since I was just a toddler) who just happened to have just move there! (This is the most fabulous Rachel DeVault. Her photography is some of my favorite in the world and she’ll be in Texas soon for your photo needs!! Check her out! HERE )
I then spent a wonderful evening with my nieces and nephews and loved every minute!
Jymn, Shelby, and baby Lochlan headed out Thursday to St. George (4 hrs away) to see my sister & attend the rehearsal dinner! Aren’t they beautiful together?? Meet Rachel & Woody! My soon-to-be BIL!!
After the dinner we met up with my dad and his family as they drove in from 2 days straight of driving to get here! They were tired so we grabbed some pizzas and headed back to our place to stay. The groom’s amazing family put us up for the night in a deluxe condo (that was almost as big as my house) and we slept so good! – I have to say here that there were some who were greatly missed this evening, but sometimes things just don’t work out the way they were planned…
Friday started early as we headed to the Sealing at the St. George temple!! The temple was GLORIOUS inside. I can’t even begin to tell you of the Spirit that was inside those walls and the wondrous things that took place inside. It was an event I wouldn’t have missed for the world!! (Get ready for LOTS of pics…if you want to see the rest, email me for the link to the gallery!)
I’m sure the photographer loved me over his shoulder… :)
It was 106 degrees outside!! But you couldn’t have wiped those smiles away if you tried!
Between the wedding and reception, our little group headed back to our condo to let the baby sleep and to catch some zzzz’s ourselves since we were driving back tonight! Oh, and Shelby curled my hair! It had already mostly fallen before this pic, but it looked amazing for awhile!
We then headed out to the awesome reception! -- See below? That’s what happens when I can’t bring you in person…I bring you on a stick… :)
She’s definitely related to us! lol
We headed straight out back to Jymn house. It was a long drive/ride and it felt so good to crawl into a comfy bed!
Jymn & Dom drove me early to the airport where I spent a LONG day getting home. My family picked me up from the airport at 11pm and it was SO good to see them!
I didn’t get much rest before a full day of singing time at church but I pulled it off and came home and crashed! I’m still feeling sore and worn out from last week. My joints have been killing me all week and I’m slow and puffy. Fun, huh? I will say that I’m feeling MUCH better than the beginning of the week but am far from myself….
