Sunday - Sunday after church, since I was going to blog, I asked Ryan to take some pictures of me. The settings were wrong on the camera and he didn't know so we ended up with some cool pop art versions. (Rachel & Jamie -- The dress is actually white with navy blue, but the shoes are that red.) So, anyway, here's the new skinnier version of me.....
Monday - Monday was Corben's baseball practice. He did great!! They had him on first base and he was catching and throwing the ball so well. I was so proud of him!
Thursday - Thursday Ella was evaluated for her speech but they say she's doing great and doesn't qualify for therapy. YEAH! They also said she had the greatest visual memory of any child they'd tested in over 3 years. Wow! The funny moment was when one of the women asked if we could take Ella outside to see if she could jump from the bottom step. At that moment Ella took a huge jump from the back of the couch and landed on her feet. No problems there! (I found her, Sunday morning, standing on TOP of her play kitchen (at least 4 feet up if not more) and watched her jump down to the floor with no problems. She has no fears!! But I do!
Friday - Friday started another busy day. Corben had an awards ceremony at school early in the morning where he received 2 awards, including one for Integrity! Go Corben!!
I left straight from the school and took the girls to a fun play day at the park with some of their friends.
Our little Sylvie has the very bad habit of getting out of her crib and going through all of her drawers for other things to wear. This is what she was wearing when I got her up from her nap.
Saturday - Saturday we had to get up early to head over and participate in the Lengthen Your Stride 5k. It was a church organized activity to gather canned goods, clothing, and money for local area charities.
Ella walked a good portion of the way, but then she started getting a bit too worn out but refused to stop so Aunt Rachel & Aunt Jamie picked her up and helped her catch up with Ryan & the stroller. Dade was having some asthma trouble so he became a volunteer and stood on the sidelines directing runners.
The whole family finished. It was over 90 degrees so we were happy to get a yummy breakfast and some cold water!!
Sunday - Sunday we had a friend of Ryan's come to visit with his kids. It was a lot of fun. We FINALLY burned the Christmas tree!! Sylvie and Ella refused to take off their "Princess dresses". They are so girly!
-- Once again, I'm ending on yummy S'mores..............The End
