4-19-2009 Week in Review

Yep, it's Sunday, and here I am again, getting a blog out on time!!  (It's because the girl's are taking an extra long nap....)

Monday - Well, Monday was the big weigh in.  I've been trying for months to loose all the baby fat I got from having 2 sweet babies in 2 years.  I've had some great support from friends and family and had set Monday as a day to have lost a certain amount.  Well, I DID IT!!  I've officially lost 31 lbs!!  (Thank you Weight Watchers.)  Bring on the Cute Clothes!!

Most of this week was spent taking sick children to the doctors.  It seems all of my children have terrible allergies and have developed an evil cough that just won't leave!!  I'm carrying inhalers where ever I go!!

Thursday Corben had his first baseball practice.  (This is where we realized he needed an inhaler.)  He had a ton of fun until they ran the bases and he spent a good 20 minutes hacking and coughing...you can tell in the pictures.  He had fun at bat but spent most of his time in the outfield playing in the dirt and singing Pop Fly quite loudly.  He's a funny kid.

Saturday I headed out early for a photo class field trip.  Since I'd gone on this field trip before I tended to spend more time listening and learning than taking pictures.  I also spent a great deal of time being a model for some other photographers so maybe you'll get to see those soon!

Later that day, Corben and his friend found a caterpillar in the yard.  Another wonderful find??  A very cute, but very DEAD mouse!!  YEAH!!  No more mouse in my food storage!!

Today was a really nice day but not just because of fun things and beautiful weather!  Today was also my little sisters birthday!!  I love you, Tammy!!  And you don't look a day over 20!!

So, now it's Sunday, and despite my opinion for the first half of the day that I was in a bad mood, and despite dropping a very heavy stool and the tip of my toe and practically breaking it, it has turned out to be a nice day after all.  Ryan is outside right now putting a nice coat of sealant on my soon to be new kitchen backslash....which he insists in not working....he says it's his way of relaxing.

The end....and now I'm going to go and eat a Reese's S'more....yum!!
