Not that I haven't already written 3 times this week and practically filled you in on EVERYTHING! But I didn't write yet about Corben's baseball games on Thursday and Friday and I have pictures this time so it's a must.
Corben was on fire on Thursday. I think he was still pumped up from Monday's game.
Friday's game (last of the season) was on the hottest day!! My sister-in-law, Jamie and her son Xander came out to join us and packed a FABULOUS picnic including PIZZA!! Thanks, Jamie! Ryan and my mom even made it, we were so glad! Corben wasn't as pumped as the day before. He was jumping back from the ball again and didn't hit his first time at bat. When it came to the last inning our team was last up to bat. As they were going through the line up Coach Smith said he just had a feeling that Corben needed to bat last. It was a replay of Monday's big hit. On Corben's last chance to swing the dugout was chanting Corben! Corben! Corben! He swung and it went about 2 feet but he ran!
Here's some pics of the girls at the game, cause they're cute too!!
Other things this week: Dade found out he'll be spending the next two weeks in Colorado with my sister and her family! He's going to help watch Abilene, lucky boy!! He'll get back just in time to go on the Pioneer Trek. I won't see him for almost a month! :( ~ The girls and I got to go swimming with Aunt Erin and Aunt Heather and Nathan and Dylan. We had a lot of fun! Thanks, Erin! ~ Our garden is struggling this year but we already have beans, zucchini, and squash! YEAH! ~ Ryan got the porches and door frames sanded and primed for painting. He also installed new brakes on the van and fixed a hole in one of my tires. My favorite thing is that he installed shelves above the washer and dryer and now I can finally organize it all with bins and make some more room in some of our other rooms. He works so hard, I really appreciate him!
Okay, that's it until next time. Have a wonderful day!!

I am so happy I was able to make it to Corben's game. It was a ton of fun! You have such an amazing family and such great kids. I am happy to be here in Raleigh and get to know them. (I just can't wait until we live closer so I can see them more).
