Something new....

Yes, I've decided a change is in order. Not because "Dark Dots" is any better than just plain ol' "Dots". But Dark Dots makes my pictures POP!! LUUVV IT!!........so now, for those observant folks of you, you've noticed that it's 11:24 on a Thursday night and Christy is up blogging about dots. Why you ask? Because my husband is on a FISHING TRIP to the beach and I can't sleep. (It may have been the entire row of Oreos I ate or the accompanying handfull(s) of peanut butter M&M's. - He's not here I can eat them ALL!!) Anyway, the truth is I should sleep better when he's gone because it means I get to sleep in the center of the bed. See, my husband was a long time bachelor before meeting me and sleeping for so long alone left a big dip in the center of the mattress. Now that Big Dip :P (I'm just kidding, it was an obvious pun - I luv him alot!) finally asked me to marry him and that's when I discovered that his mattress made you roll to the center no matter which side you sleep on - great for cuddling, not so great when you don't want to cuddle, you have a baby in the bed, one of you has got gas/bad breath/the flu, etc. So, on the very rare occasion that he's not around in the middle of the night I get to snuggle in to the cozy spot in the middle of the bed (that still dips despite several layers of blankets beneath it - anyone want to donate to the new mattress fund?) and sleep like a log. Yeah....I think.
