2-10-13 Week in Review…

m – Corben home sick from school.  -- Our littlest man has been a fuss bucket the last month and a half. Mommy’s not getting much sleep. Sigh.

T – Corben is finally feeling better so off to school he goes only to call me an hour later.  He threw up on the bus!! Poor kid. He feels fine so I think this was probably his CVS acting up. Sigh. – Today is my baby sister, Rachel’s b-day!

Just found one of my family history lines back to 1020!! Full of Knights, Castles, and even a poet/playwright (quoted in Romeo and Juliet) who was rumored to be the illegitimate son of Henry VIII...family history work is so cool...

Up late again with Collin. Maybe these teefers are the reason for all our misery lately?? (fingers crossed)

w – So Jason asked me to make a cake for Cassie’s birthday (that I wish I could go to!) I remembered an AMAZING cake that Tammy had made recently and decided to call her for advice. Well…mine didn’t quite work out the same. My ganach was a bit too runny and warm and it tried to ruin everything. (Luckily I was able to scrape it all back up off the counter and reuse it!  Ha ha Just kidding!…ish) ;D My hope was that Cassie would never see Tammy’s cake yet here I am showing her myself! lol

Then, FINALLY, it was Circus time!! Yippee!! Mom even got to go with us since Dade had testing (sorry Dade).

  

Friday was early release. Ryan got most of the stonework done for the patio area! Yay!

We were really hoping he’d stop crying all the time once his teeth cut through. This is seriously an all night thing sometimes…ugh.

Spent a wonderful afternoon with my Dade! I miss seeing him everyday... — with Xander

Glad my mom could come up! She helped me find some awesome new clothes and got to talk to her about the important things in life. A nice morning! Thanks mom! — with Christy.

Went and picked up Dade for an afternoon of shopping. It was fun to be with him. I sure miss seeing him everyday.

Collin decided to cruise along today…

I was able to get a sitter for tonight and went out to surprise my dear friend, Tara, for her birthday!

Saturday we went to open gymnastics and the girls played with their friend, Eden.

Sunday -

I haven't been feeling well and was looking forward to some quiet(er) rest while Ryan took the kids to church...until I discovered that Ryan is sicker than I am and is not getting out of bed. The kids just asked what I'm making everyone for breakfast. It's not fair, Mom's don't get sick days...

AND, as you can see from the following video…Ryan apparently started feeling better and decided to get some fun out of his birthday present. It’s called a Thunder Mug.
