Monday the girls spent the entire evening catching fireflies. They actually caught so many that there weren’t any in our yard!! Almost 30 fireflies! Ryan took the girls out to drop off a movie and ended up taking them out to the store for a bit. He taught them a new game…his explanation is that you must test out a helmet before you buy it… (no children were hurt in the making of this picture).
Tuesday, 2 wonderful Sisters from church came over and cleaned my bathrooms and floors. What a HUGE blessing. I’m so behind on everything with these hips out of joint. That afternoon we attended Corben’s last orchestra concert of the year. He did great! He’s the lit up cello in the middle.
Wednesday was my SIL Amy’s birthday!! AND Ryan found a baby turtle in the garden.
Thursday my mom came for a visit and went on a 1.5 mile walk with both girls.
Friday, after my 3rd chiropractor appt. this week I was feeling pretty good so Sylvie and I hit a local shopping area for lunch. We were filmed for a few minutes by the local news as we sat eating.
Saturday the girls attended an awesome birthday party while the boys headed out of town for the weekend to spend some time with their Step-mom.
Sunday was peaceful and quiet, as it should be. I was in a LOT of pain after sitting in church for 3 hours and almost couldn’t walk at all. I spent the day on the couch while Ryan played with the girls.
