My goal is to actually catch up and blog all of 2011 before 2011 is over! Most everything in my life is neglected right now. Once I can make it through the day without a nap, a good throwing up, or a headache I may be able to catch up on life….hopefully. Course, by then the baby may be here!
Monday was BEAUTIFUL weather and Ryan spent all day outside working in the yard. Sylvie enjoyed the leaves.
Daddy even made her an awesome leaf nest!!
When Corben got home he brought his cello outside and serenaded us! It was a great evening.
Ella drew the first official picture of our entire family!! Can you believe we’re going to have 7 people??!!
Tuesday Dade had a home match and since Ryan was home I was able to go without kids! Corben came along because his dad was actually able to drive straight from work and get to see Dade wrestle for the first time ever! My mom was also there so it was a great night!
It was really cool to see the respect people have for our military and all they do. People around here don’t see a lot of men in uniform, much less a high ranking airborne ranger! CJ was let in free to the event and had so many folks come up for hand shakes and random people coming to speak with him. He’ll be heading back to Afghanistan at some point soon. It’s hard on the boys and his wife but we’re all so thankful for his service to our country!
This was a big match for Dade’s team and in the end it was a tie and Dade was up last! There was a lot of excitement. People were screaming and stomping the bleachers as they cheered Dade on!! (Okay, so all the screaming you can hear on the video is me….but I was 5 inches from the mic and it was really exciting…sorry…) Enjoy!! (Dade’s the one on the left.)
Wednesday was Ella’s last day of school and she had a big Thanksgiving party. It was cold and rainy so I ended up having to cancel another photo shoot.
Thursday was BLACK THURSDAY!! (as we picky eaters call it) or THANKSGIVING for all you foodies! I was able to bring a friend along to my sister’s which was so nice since the boys were off for the weekend to see their dad and celebrate his 40th birthday and Ryan was back to work!!
And here it is…Ryan’s homemade rolls…and the staple of every Thanksgiving for me since the beginning of time. YUM.
Then my brothers threw the kids around in the leaves for a bit!
Then, here is why I wish my D300 could fit in my pocket like my new phone. Just compare the picture quality from above to the pics below. It kills me…
Anyway, here’s my sister’s cute family! Could they all be any more gorgeous??!!
Friday I was able to slip in another shoot! YEAH!
Saturday was a busy day too but I ended it with one of our favorite families!! I love my job.

What a fun Thanksgiving! Tammy's family is so cute! Keep on truckin' little mama! Don't forget to nap. LOL
I didn't know Corben plays the cello! Or I forgot? Anyhow, that's AWESOME. And I love the pictures of Corben with his dad; we've noticed the same wonderful response from people towards Phill in uniform. It's moving.
