Monday I was excited to go and work the Right to Life booth at the State Fair. However, I just wasn’t up to it so I sent Dade in my place. He had a great evening and did a fantastic job. I’m so thankful for a son who’s wiling to not only stand up for what he believes but willing to do it in such a public setting with only a few moments notice. My kid rocks.
Tuesday I took Dade to the oral surgeons to have his wisdom teeth looked at. We were all ready to sign up until they showed me what the bill would be…anyone need a kidney? I think I’m going to be selling one of mine….
Ryan finally had a chance to cook up our Steak dinner. I was so queasy that I almost didn’t keep it down but it was too good to not finish….
Wednesday the girls were wonderful and quietly sat doing puzzles together all day. Just the break I needed!
Friday was the youth Halloween dance. Dade had the most awesome costume EVER.
Somewhere, I hear, there are pictures from the dance of Dade actually dancing with one of the Bishops on his shoulders!!
Saturday was Stake Conference and Ryan and I were both able to attend the adult session. It was so nice to sit and listen!! Afterwards we headed over for a VERY LATE night of star gazing with some good friends. There was a fantastic meteor shower going on and we saw SO many!!
While we were at Conference my sweet niece was born!!
Sunday we went to go meet new baby Caroline and then spent some much needed time at the park!!
Then off to the park!!
The End.
