I'm trying to catch up!!! I'll have to go back and finish the vacation ones.....
Let me tell you. Coming back from a vacation at midnight on a Sunday and having to jump right back into life with 4 kids on a Monday morning is NOT FUN!! Add into the fact that it was Ella's birthday AND Corben's baseball team party at which I was supposed to present the coach with a book I'd made...that I didn't actually finish until Monday....hmmm. Anyway, all eventually ironed itself out. I finished the book minutes before we had to leave and printed out what it would look like so they could all see and not think I'd been making up the whole thing all along. It turned out great and I'm so excited to actually get the real thing in hand and give it to the coach. The evening was filled with excitement as Ella realized that she was getting a party like her friends'! She kept saying "I free!" (I'm 3). Isn't she beautiful!
Her party was small but she was thrilled.
This picture makes me laugh. Every time Ella tries to blow (bubbles, kisses, etc.) she always blows straight up and her bangs go flying! Dad finally had to help her.
Ella LOVED her gifts. Can you tell??
Tuesday was Ella's 3 year check up. She is 30 lbs and 3 ft 1/2 inch tall. Her speech is continuing to improve. We are really loving having little conversations with her.
Wednesday night, while my mom was out with the boys to scouts, I headed back out to Zebulon to have another adventure with the Zebulon Young Women. This time we did letterboxing!! We headed out to Temple Flat Rock in Wendell and got through 3 boxes before the sun started getting too low to continue. Besides the ticks, it was a ton of fun! Thanks, Ladies!
Friday was PLAYGROUP!! Now, we don't do playgroup like they do in Colorado (four wheeling at the sand dunes) but we do have a ton of fun! This time it was a tour of Cold Stone Creamery! YUM! I caught a pic with my cell phone....
I actually managed to get both girls to hold still enough to do their hair and then was pleasantly surprised when both girls ate full cups of ice cream all by themselves and didn't spill a drop!! Thanks L & E for setting up such a fun day!
Saturday Ryan headed out EARLY for a great morning at the lake with a good friend of his. I know he was so excited to get the boat out on the water. He arrived home just in time for me to rush out to Smithfield to assist in my first wedding shoot. I can't share many of the shots from the wedding as it was a paid for event but I can show some of the ones of the food! lol
Anyway, so that's one week down....
