So, can you do this??
Well, Corben Can!!
Apparently, it's not really true that you can't lick your elbow, well at least for some of us. Want to try? Here's some good advice from WikiHow....
How to Lick Your Elbow
First of all, it helps to have a long tongue, or a short upper arm will do the trick. This is the easiest way to lick your elbow... the more advanced way is to just prop your arm up, bent, near your face. Not all people can do this,.
Steps
- Lie down on your stomach, with your arms in front of your face
- Bend your right or left arm so that your forearm is pressed firmly on top of your biceps.
- Pull your arm closer to your face, resting your chin on your forearm.
- Stick your tongue out and down, aiming towards the right or left arm, whichever one you decided to use. Try to wiggle around if it helps.
Tips
- If you cannot see or feel if you are actually licking your elbow, put an edible substance, perhaps salt, sugar, lemon juice, etc. on your elbow -- if you taste the substance you know you're licking it. You can also ask someone to watch, unless you are afraid you might be embarrassed if your attempt fails. You can also take a picture to see.
- Don't get frustrated if you can't do it, it's a very rare trick to do.
Warnings
- Do not forcibly pull your elbow closer; if you feel any pain, you should probably stop. Your tongue is bound to feel overstretched after this exercise, this is normal, it will stop shortly after you do.
- Do not put any strain on your elbow. It isn't our fault if you break your arm off, now is it?
Now, don't think for a moment that this is all that Corben can do....my Corben is very talented. He can perform a plethora of tricks if given the moment. I did, and this is what I got.

This was just too funny!...very weird...but very funny!!
I can do both of those!! :) Ah, Corben and I must be kindred spirits.
What a talented kid. This cracked our whole family up. We love our "Corben Dorben" as Xander keeps yelling.
YEAH BUT...
Can he curl his tongue or bend it in half? or stick out his tongue and touch his eyebrow? or wiggle his ears? you know he DOES have the advantage of being young. Still flexible and stuff that's the why he can do those things. I could too if I was EIGHT! :-))
Love ya Corben, we are totally impressed with your skills. You will have to show Grandpa. I'm sure he has a trick or two up his sleeve to share with you. hugs from all...
