Well, it’s Monday (back in March) and the first thing to do is take Collin to the Dr. He seemed better over the weekend but today he was NOT. THIS time he does have an ear infection and we got antibiotics. Finally!
Someone is a super awesome help to me! Aren't they so cute?
Today it was book character day at Ella’s school so the class dressed up like Moose from If you Give a Moose a Muffin!
It’s Tuesday & it’s my nephew, Jamos’, birthday!! (or at least it was 4.5 months ago when I should have been posting this blog…sigh)
Wednesday was busy. A missing cell phone, gymnastics, Corben staying after school for orchestra practice and rushing home to get ready for a temple trip! Yay! I sure hope Collin starts feeling better soon. Ryan and I haven’t slept in days with him up all night.
Today was Wacky Wednesday for Ella…Daddy dressed her… (a little to Madonna for me…mixed with Cindi Lauper…lol)
Thursday was busy again BUT…
Collin took a bottle! For 2 1/2 months I've been telling the doctors I thought he was having ear pain that was keeping him from sucking and making him bite me. 2 days on antibiotics and he downed a bottle!! Yay!! My sweet boy isn’t hurting anymore AND (as a bonus) I can now leave him with someone if I have to go baby-less. Hip Hip Hooray!
SO…right after school Corben had an orchestra concert!! He did amazing!
We rushed straight from the concert (had to leave early) to get to Ella’s school book fair & magic show!
Friday Ella drew her teacher this awesome picture at recess!
Yesterday Collin took a bottle, last night he went down for the night around 11 and he's still asleep!!! He and I haven't slept through the night since his ear infection in December. I got 6 and a half hours of sleep. I'm SO excited! I hate to think his ears have been hurting all this time but I am so glad that we are both finally finding some relief!
Life has been good lately. Corben has really been doing amazing things with the girls lately. He has been so calm and caring with them. It’s making a huge difference in how our evenings go. He even almost completely calmed Ella from a full blown tantrum last night and THAT is saying a lot. I can see him growing up and it makes me so proud. :)
The girls headed to Mom’s for a cousin sleepover. I had a nice time with Corben for the evening. We picked up some Pizza Hut, he bought me some chips, and we came home and watched a couple episodes of Duke Dynasty.
The cousins had a BLAST hanging out, making pancakes, and playing in their band!
Saturday Corben was gone out of town for an orchestra competition! They got a Superior!! I’m so proud of that boy.
This morning was beautiful. We went to Target and the girls were climbing all over the cart drop off and crawling on the ground. I told them to get off of it and get in the car and they both jumped up and said Yes Ma’am!! just as a couple walked by who smiled and commented on how amazing that was. Lol if they only knew. I was as shocked as they were! So I took them to for ice cream :) We came home and tidied up and they played outside for a long time. I Love this weather. It puts me in the best mood. My mom picked up Dade, and his girlfriend Maddie, and took them to Super Saturday at church and they stayed for the dance.
And then?? Ryan came home and put up the gate. Yay!
Sunday - I went for a walk to look for clover with the girls and Collin and hung with the neighbors. My neighbors rock!
