Dear Irene… {a FB conversation}

Tamara

Listen hurricane--I got plans this weekend. BIG plans. Don't mess 'em up or I'm going to have some strong words for you young lady. (P.S. I like that 200 year old tree in my backyard. Don't push it over. Especially not on my house. Thanks, Tam)

    To: Tamara, From: Hurricane Irene, RE: Listen Hurricane. First and foremost... I'm a male hurricane, it's pronounced "eye'ren'ey" which my parents felt was a fun play on words. Second...as for your "BIG plans"...pardon me while I laugh (and destroy the bahamas)...but uh...they are a no go...unless those plans are to hang out in that creepy basement of yours while I go all Ty Pennington on your house. Oh, and thanks for the reminder about the tree...my kin have been after it for years...but hey, just think of all that great firewood for those freezing North Carolina winters your family lied to you about. Sincerely, Mr. Irene

    Ok "Mr. Irene" (if that really IS your real name....). I'm sorry that your parents hated you. And no doubts getting pushed around by all those waves is enough to cause a little Tropical Depression in anyone, but how 'bout some anger management classes? Cause a category FOUR? Really? Doesn't that seem a bit extreme? Take a deep breath, count to 10 and then blow yourself back out into the ocean. Your family misses you and I'm sure they want you back. Everybody hurts--you can get through this. We believe in you. ALL OUR LOVE, North Carolina

    To: Tamara, From: Hurricane Irene. Listen, I feel like you may have misinterpreted my tone. Tell you what, I'll cancel my outer banks visit and head that way so we can sit down and get this all straightened out. Saturday work for you?...yeah...it does now...BAH HAHA!

  • Jason

    SEE THAT EVERYONE!!...it's TAMMY's Fault the hurricane turned west!!!...................................... (pay no attention to the man behind the curtain)

  • Tamara

    Now THAT'S funny.....you're the funniest littlest brother I ever had!

I LOVE my family!!

Funny! I had only seen the 1st two exchanges. We should be the LDS poster family because we certainly are the best example of "a peculiar people!"
