The week started out frightening for me. I couldn’t sleep Sunday night after a long day of illness and then suddenly, about 2am I had a “Gallbladder Attack”!!! I know, I know!! I don’t have a gallbladder anymore! So, now I’m totally freaked out and in a ton of pain and did I mention I was freaked out? Well, the Dr. claims that since my surgery was very recent and since I’d had a gastro illness the last 24 hrs that he’s pretty positive that I simply irritated my already fragile and recovering bowels which led them to flare up. He said if I got sick in a month it wouldn’t happen. Only slightly reassuring. Very slightly. I’m on antibiotics which haven’t yet cleared up the infection they were meant for though the pain is substantially less. I’m admittedly a little worried that there’s something else wrong but just praying I’ll know what to do.
Anyway, Monday was SNOW. I took no photos. I, instead, played with my kids and helped Corben make a huge snow pyramid fort. Then I escaped with my hubby for a bit to Walmart and then stayed up late making Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls and watching TV (something we haven’t done in YEARS…literally). I then laid awake until 5am when I finally fell asleep. Insomnia, why do you plague me!
Tuesday we worked on excavating the innards of our Pyramid.
Then I gave Corben the video camera and let him go at it. Be prepared for a lot of 10 year old videoing….but the singing is nice….
Wednesday….My Fabulous SIL came over to play with her kiddos. I LOVE them…

Thursday, after going to bed around 12:30am, I was woken by the phone at 1:27am. My friend’s water had broken and they were on the way to the hospital. So I had to get up too because I was taking their birthing photos!! Thank you SO much (you have no idea) to everyone who helped out with my kids (Jessica, Jamie). I finally made it home around Noon after an amazing experience. Thanks T for letting me share your day!!
In the mean time, Dade was at an all day wrestling meet. Luckily, Aunt Jamie was able to go to the entire thing and cheer him on. Did I mention how fabulous she is? Dade did a great job considering he’d lost some weight. I guarantee he’ll be eating better over the next few weeks!
Friday morning I was up again to celebrate Another Birth!! JAMIE’S!! Me and the SIL’s headed to IHOP after they kidnapped her so we could have a wonderful breakfast together. That evening I headed out with the kids to spend New Years with my siblings! Yeah for living close together!
We have the best family tradition for New Year’s….shredded newspaper rocks!
Saturday…Ryan had off work…it was so nice.
Dade brought Ella tp to the bathroom. Ella said, “Thank you, Dade! You’re my superhero, Dade!”
Sun…Schneg family party!! Ryan won the ice cream Freeze off with his Orange-pineapple sherbert. He rocks. He got this awesome trophy.
We had a ton of fun but I forgot my camera so you’ll have to wait until I can snag some pics from someone!
