A new kind of Can You Come Outside to Play…it’s called Mom is tired and busy and sending you out in the same backyard every day with a camera so you can take blurry pictures of the same flower & toy and lots of awesome selfies and pictures of your siblings’ backsides. Mom will occasionally drag herself along and snag the camera to clear her conscious but then it’s back to the new easier way that she in fact Loves because the truth is…our Yard is as awesome as any other place, Outside is Outside and that’s what the challenge is about, AND last but not least, using a camera is a good skill for them to learn, teaches them sharing, and shows me what they love best about our wonderful yard especially since we’re moving and it’s their memories that will fade more than mine. :) (There is the obvious drawback of lots of extra “awesome” pictures of me in my off guard moments…but again, it’s their memories that are important and just as I love pictures of them no matter how they look, they feel the same about me so I’ll leave them up.)
